built the studio Port Richey was missing.
Cotee River Massage & Skincare is a small, appointment-only studio in Port Richey run by two specialists who happen to be partners in life as well as work. Alex is a licensed massage therapist with a clinical background in chronic pain, corrective work, and advanced bodywork. Renee is a massage therapist and licensed aesthetician with a focus on results-driven skincare. Together they've built something that doesn't quite fit a single category — it's not a spa, it's not a clinic, but it delivers the kind of results you'd expect from both.
Every session starts with a real conversation. What's going on, what you've tried, what you actually need. From there, nothing is templated. The work is customized every time — because the same hour looks completely different depending on who's on the table and what their body is asking for that day.
It's a small operation by design. That's the point.
What you won't find here
A front desk that doesn't know your name. A provider who moves you through a 50-minute slot without actually looking at you. A treatment menu that doesn't change regardless of what's going on with your body. The appointment-only model exists specifically so that every client gets the full weight of both of their attention — before, during, and after the session.
This isn't a business built to scale. It's built to be genuinely good at what it does, for the people it serves, for as long as possible.
